SUMMER ADVENTURE!

The camp itself costs 265 Euros. This is the price without any additional funding though foundations etc. More on that later. 

The price covers all costs regarding the campsite including toilets, water, washing tents etc. It also includes the food budget. Not included are any additional costs incurred with the host group and the initial travel to Germany. Travel within Germany is generally included however if you intend to for example remain with your host group after the camp travel might not be included. Feel free to reach out as soon as you have planned your trip to make sure. 

In total around 6000 scouts are expected to attend the camp. We aim to have 1000 of those scouts be international guests.

Over half of the German State organizations have their own subcamp so 9 total. Each subcamp has their own people organizing the activities, Cafés and the day to day of the subcamp itself. Most of the time on the Jamboree will be spent in the subcamps. Each subcamp has their own motto. When partnering with your host groups you can also give a preference on which subcamp you wish to attend. 

Each subcamp have their own team of paramedics. These all report to the general camp medic team which includes licenced doctors. Of course all the camp medical personnel are only first responders and work closely with the local hospitals in the case of more severe injuries or illnesses.

The camp also has a security and firefighting teams. 

The camp is taking place in the BdP national scouting centre in Immenhausen

 The camp will take place from the 30.07.2026 to the 09.08.2026 

Generally speaking the best way of getting to the camp is via the Frankfurt Airport, then taking a train after which a shuttle service will be provided. More Details to follow.

If you intend to visit your host group before the camp another way of travel might make more sense. Be sure to bring this up when planning you trip with your host group. 

Each day starts with morning roll call and some morning activities and games. After Breakfast the subcamp offers activities for the scout groups while rovers are free to explore the plethora of rover activities on the camp. After some from both your group and the host group have gone shopping and prepared lunch you can partake in some federal camp activities. After dinner you can rest by the fire and learn some german scout songs. After sending the younger scouts to bed you can go to one of the many café´s on the entire jamboree let the evening round off. 

No. We don´t provide internet nor charging ports. There is cellular data however with 6000 people at the camp its not going to be good. 

We use chemical toilets.

There are no showers but we have sinks with running water. 

For now any further information will be communicated by the international team for the Jamboree.

We strive to make as much of the camp accessible to our international guests as possible. All camp activities will be translated into English including the opening and closing ceremony. The subcamps are responsible for translating their activities but we will work closely with the subcamps to ensure everyone can feel included. 

Obviously no german is required for participating in the camp though we invite you to try :). We do ask that at least one person in your group speaks English to ensure proper communication. We may also be able to accommodate other languages however we can only guarantee communication in English. 

Yes you´ll get a badge. Also included are a T-Shirt and a informational pamphlet. 

You will be required to fill out a medical questionnaire. This is so we can provide relevant information to paramedics and doctors should the need arise. We cannot provide routine medical services or prescribe or even give medicine. We can refrigerate medicine 

“Intakt” is the german scout equivalent for the prevention of sexual violence. You will be required to take part in a course regarding this subject. This course will be held on the first day of camp itself in English. As we regard this as a very important topic especially as scouting involves working directly with children attendance will be mandatory regardless of previous experience or qualifications.

On the camp itself there is qualified staff available 24/7 for any affected persons or witnesses of approach. 

As mentioned you will be required to fill out medical questionnaire provided by us. In addition we require a copy of your visa, if applicable, proof of insurance and a letter of endorsement from your countries scouts organization.

Further documents may be required by request.

You require separate foreign health insurance unless you are from EU member state.

We strongly advise you take up travel cancellation and liability insurance. Anything else is up to your discretion. 

The host group applies for financial support automatically when accepting you as an international group. This is to offset camp costs. You will have to communicate with the host group for the details of that funding.

You are welcome apply for additional funding from the fund organization within your own country to for example cover the cost of travel.

This will have to be communicated to your host group as you will be preparing your food together. We should be able to accommodate any restrictions within reason. 

We will organise a camp wide “international evening“. Here you will be able to share food or customs from your country to anyone who will listen. However, the whole point of inviting you as our internationals guest is for us to share our way of life with one another so of course sharing this will not just be confined to this one evening. We also would like to work with you to offer Workshops during the federal programming slot.

If you are planning to bring food please be sure to check border restrictions on the import of food. You should however be able to buy a lot of what you could need here in Germany. Your host group should be able to help you. 

This of course depends on which country you´ll be visiting us from. Be sure to check with the relevant authorities and consulates. We also advise that you take care of the visas as soon as possible after committing to participating as we have had troubles in the past with the german authorities being a bit finicky and wait times can be long. We are able to issue letters of invitations that some nationalities require for being issued a Visa.
